Now, if an IP costs a provider $1/month, how do other providers do deals that include 1 IPv4 and are less than $10/year ? Obviously they are using their own IPs, or renting/leasing from a cheaper provider.
I'm not interested in that kind of business, but I am interested to learn about the pricing of IPs generally in the US.
UK typically is £1 (about $1.60), but there better deals. One reason why rapidswitch is very common with lowend providers here.
